Accommodation Terms & Conditions

This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the booking, payment, stay, and conduct of guests who avail of accommodation services at Roper Bar & Store. By initiating a booking and making payment, you, the payer, acknowledge and agree to abide by the following stipulations:


Booking

Reservation Process: All accommodation reservations are contingent upon availability and the prevailing pricing at the time of booking – all bookings must be completed on the booking form.


Quotation Validity: Quotations provided are valid for a duration of 24 hours. Any verbal quotations are approximate and subject to written confirmation upon reservation.


Guarantee Requirement: Accommodation bookings necessitate a guarantee at the time of reservation through the submission of valid credit card details.


Credit Card Authorization: By furnishing valid credit card details ,you affirm your authorisation to use the creditcard and permit Roper Bar Park & Store to charge the booking cost to the credit card in the event of a cancellation (with a fee in line with our cancellation structure listed below).


Payment Structure: A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking, with the remaining amount due upon arrival or as specified in prearranged payment terms.


Late Payment Surcharge: Overdue invoices over 15 days will be subject to a late fee and an administration surcharge equal to 10% of the outstanding balance.


Refunds

Cancellation Policy: A cancellation fee structure is in place to govern reservation modifications. Should you opt to cancel your booking within a time frame of five (5) business days prior to your scheduled arrival date, a penalty fee amounting to 50% of the total booking cost will be imposed. Furthermore, in the event of cancellation occurring within 48 hours of the specified arrival date, the full 100% of the booking cost will be levied as a cancellation fee.


Early Departure: If a stay is curtailed for any reason, no refunds will be issued, and payment for the intended duration remains mandatory.


Check-in and Check-out:


Check-in Time: Standard check-in time is 2:00 pm. The person listed in the booking (or their nominee) must be present for check-in.


Check-out Time: Guests are required to check out by 10:00 am. Late checkouts after 11:00 am will incur a full night's accommodation charge.


Other

Breakfast Inclusion: A continental breakfast including toast, cereal, and fruit is part of the room rate.


Additional Occupants: Each extra person (including infants) will incur a $15 charge on top of the room rate; meals are billed separately.


Cleanliness Responsibility: While daily cleaning services are provided, guests are expected to maintain cleanliness in communal areas. Cleaners do not handle all guest dishes.

BBQ Area Guidelines: Dishes are not to be left in the outdoor BBQ sink area.

General Terms and Conditions

Security Deposit: Guests must provide a valid credit card or cash deposit along with photo identification during check-in to cover potential incidental charges.

Guest Responsibilities: Damages, breakages, and theft are the responsibility of guests during their stay.

Additional Cleaning Fees: Fees for extra cleaning may apply if deemed necessary.

Alcohol Policy: Roper Bar Park & Store adheres to responsible alcohol service practices.

Prohibited Substances: Use of drugs or alcohol in rooms is strictly forbidden, and violations may lead to booking termination, loss of deposit, and full payment charges.

No Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited within rooms. A cleaning fee of $650 applies for violations. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed in the motel.

Noise Regulations: Noise restrictions apply after 9 pm to ensure the enjoyment of all guests.

Guest Count: The number of guests must align with the booking confirmation or as agreed upon in writing.

Lost Keys: A fee of $350 applies for lost or stolen keys.

Room Degradation: Room degradation will incur a $650 cleaning fee, plus relevant charges.

Party Policy

No Party Policy: A strict no-party policy is enforced for quiet enjoyment and respect of all guests. Quiet hours are between 9 pm and 7 am.

Cooking and Fire Safety

Cooking Regulations: Cooking in guest rooms is prohibited; cooking is permitted only in approved areas.

Fire Safety: Fire regulations require awareness of guest numbers in rooms. Open flames, including candles, are not allowed.

Fire Alarm: Should the fire alarm be activated and the cause of this be due to negligence, or failure to follow directions, the cost of this will be applied to the guest 

Minibar, Laundry, Price, Payment, Security

Minibar: Minibars are included in rooms and are subject to daily checks and charges at checkout.

Laundry Service: Laundry service is available for a fee.

Price Determination: The price is determined either by the invoice provided or an estimated value that is confirmed at checkout.

Additional Charges: Roper Bar Park & Store reserves the right to modify the price for variations or additional services required.

Security Interest: The Customer grants a security interest in favour of Roper Bar Park & Store, allowing for charges and caveats over real property.

Storage:

Vehicles, Materials & Or Machinery: You are Permitted to store your Vehicles, Materials & Or Machinery at the sole discretion of Roper Bar Park & Store during your stay where Roper Bar Park & Store determine that the area of storage is disproportionate to number of rooms being occupied/rented a fee for storage may apply.

Vehicles, Materials & Or Machinery Left/not collected at the end of stay: Where Vehicles, Materials & Or Machinery still remain 24 hours after checkout, then Roper Bar Park & Store may choose to charge a storage fee. Goods that remain uncollected for a period of time may be towed or salvaged, and all fees will be deemed recoverable from the customer 


Costs

Costs and Charges: The customer is liable for legal, accounting, and business costs and expenses. Late payment may incur an administration fee.

Concluding Remarks

The breach of any of these conditions could lead to the immediate termination of the rental agreement and relevant charges.

These terms and conditions are applicable to all guests and bookings at Roper Bar Park & Store. By proceeding with booking and payment, you acknowledge your understanding and agreement to adhere to these terms.

Legal Statement

Additional Charges

Roper Bar Park & Store reserves the right to change the Price if a variation to the original booking that was provided is requested or where additional services or reparations are required due to the discovery of hidden or unidentifiable damage or services use (including, but not limited to, theft, misuse of property, intentional damage or any other such circumstance that causes financial detriment to Roper Bar Park & Store or its directors and/or Shareholders). Where Roper Bar Park & Store is requested to store the Customer's Products, Materials, Vehicles, or Machine or where Parts or vehicles are not collected within twenty-four (24) hours of checkout, then Roper Bar Park & Store (at its sole discretion) may charge the Customer a reasonable fee for storage. All tow and/or salvage fees will be charged to the Customer and will be added to the Price.

You agree that any and all damages to your property whilst on the property of Roper Bar Park & Store are the sole responsibility of the owner the damaged property.

Costs

The Customer must pay for its own legal, accounting and business costs and all costs incurred by Roper Bar Park & Store relating to any default by the Customer. The Customer must also pay for all stamp duty and other taxes payable on this Agreement (if any). The Customer will pay the Roper Bar Park & Store's costs and disbursements incurred in pursuing any recovery action, or any other claim or remedy, against the Customer, including debt recovery fees and legal costs on an indemnity basis and as a liquidated sum. The Customer must also be responsible for, and pay on-demand an administration fee of $110 (inclusive of GST) if the Customer is late in making any payment in respect of accommodation for more than 30 days.

Security

The Customer hereby charges in favour of Roper Bar Park & Store all of its right, title and interest in any and all real property that the Customer owns at the present and in the future with the amount of its indebtedness to the Roper Bar Park & Store arising under these Terms until discharged, and the Customer consents for the Roper Bar Park & Store to lodge a caveat over any such real property. The Customer appoints as its duly constituted attorney an authorised officer of the Roper Bar Park & Store from time to time to execute in the Customer's name and deed, real property mortgage or consent to any caveat the Roper Bar Park & Store may choose to lodge against real property that the Customer may own in any Land Titles Office in any state or territory of Australia, even though the Customer may not have defaulted in carrying out its obligations hereunder. Where the Customer previously entered into an agreement with the Roper Bar Park & Store by which the Customer has granted a charge, mortgage or other security over real property, those charges, mortgages or other security interests shall continue and co-exist with the obligations and security interest created in this Agreement. The Roper Bar Park & Store may, at its election, vary the terms of such previous charges, mortgages or other securities to reflect the terms herein. The Customer will be responsible for the Roper Bar Park & Store's costs and expenses in exercising its rights under this Agreement. Where the Roper Bar Park & Store exercises any power to enter the premises, that entry will not give rise to any action of trespass or similar action on the part of the Customer against the Roper Bar Park & Store, its employees, servants or agents.
